1897, Large Figures wide surcharge on Dowager, 1st printing, 10¢ on 12ca brown orange, the rare "Golden Dragon" (Chan 54. Scott 45), fresh-faced with strong color and bold surcharge, o.g., hinged; few trimmed perforations at bottom, diagonal folding crease at lower right and some toned spots on reverse, otherwise Very Fine and nearly impossible to obtain, One of the great rarities of Chinese philately, with 1998 R.P.S.L. and 2004 Experts & Consultants Ltd. certificates.
