1867/1943 - EGYPT: very advanced collection of stamps OG, MNH and used, collected in four albums with handwritten descriptions, plus three additional albums (duplicates, not counted) and ten booklets. The collection includes numerous important items, among them two 1926 commemorative sets overprinted 'Port Fouad', including one MNH set with the high value 50pt, and one used on cover (CF Diena). It features extensive specialisation material and a wide range of cancellations on piece, as well as on Egyptian and Ottoman Empire issues, particularly in the early period, with significant varieties. The Services section - Postage Due primarily - is particularly well developed, including essays, proofs and reconstructed sheets, both mint and used. Accompanied by a detailed study of the various Postage Due types, with enlargements, drawings and research notes.
